Coming Full Circle

On 1 Dec I gave birth to my 5th child, a healthy girl. As of now my womb had carried 5 embryos until full-term. This birth was by ceasarean section, since the baby was distressed- my 4 others were natural births. Nothing prepared me for the pain after the painkiller wore off! My free advice to would-be mothers, opt for natural birth & get it over with.

This birth closes my chapter on "childbirth" and now I will focus solely on my "raising children" activities, using my style of motherhood (rightly or wrongly) & with whatever energy left I could muster. Aliya's birth strangely had a calming effect- almost zen-like in its after effects. She is the last of 5, with 4 others who will love & take care of her.
