The End (... or The Beginning?)

Most movies/ drama serials will end with the girl and the boy falling in love, walking hand in hand into the sunset. For example, When Harry Met Sally they fell in love that developed from friendship and coincidences... however, has anybody every wondered what happened After Harry Met (Married) Sally?

Did Sally impose on Harry her family values? (or vice versa)

Was Harry/ Sally good in bed? Did he/ she snore or hog the blanket?

Was he a good financial provider? Was she a good wife?

Did he treat her well? Did she treat him well?

Were their children well-adjusted?

How do they agree on the religious upbringing or disciplining of the children?

Do they ever get bored of each other?

Have they had any medical issues e.g. cancer scare?

Life is complex, to say the least. What I have learnt today, at this very moment, is that I choose to be happy with my life. It doesn't matter if Harry and Sally stayed together... or whether either of them snored. Details are details. Things will happen when they're supposed to happen.

The important thing is the big picture:

Do they love each other?

Is the love so precious that they will dig in their heels and weather whatever storm comes their way?

Will they continue to love each other no matter what?

In the end, I'm still a hopelessly hopeless romantic. Love prevails... with a little bit of chivalry thrown in.

My wish for you and for all kind souls on this beautiful earth: May you receive the right kind of love in your life. One that will make you flourish and grow. One that is so beautiful and precious that it is worth waiting for. *Swoon*
