End of school year

Schools had to close in October as the number of covid-19 infections rose. 

Today my daughters' class teachers asked us to collect their personal items.

I had expected to meet the teachers but the school had actually prepared all items in plastic bags. These were left at the canteen based on each class & parents merely collect the bags (after scanning, taking the temperature & sanitising) and bring them home.

Rather anti-climactic, but that's essentially what it is.

What are in those bags? Some arts & craft items; some test papers & exercise books. 

Rather poignant.
