Silliness

We had a social gathering at the office today. It was organised pretty well I think, looking at the big picture. The food was too spicy though, they could have toned down the chillis a notch.

Apart from the 'hot' food, the rest of the event was a hoot. There was singing, dancing, a fashion show and some speeches. Joy. We haven't had that in a LOOOOONG time.

Some silliness and banter may help break the monotony. We probably needed that. We have been shackled way too long. (Dramatic, aren't I?).

However, on a personal level, I think I could have been more well-behaved. I shouldn't have asked our Head of Department to be the catwalk model. I should have kept quiet and let it be. I hope he forgives me.

This is where I sometimes need to step back and be a reserved proper lady. This is why some people need to go to finishing school! I am unfinished to say the least. Haha.
