Making the Leap
Marriage: Is it for everybody?
Honestly? Perhaps not.
If a person is very comfortable single, has his routine set down part & is happy with his life... there is probably no compelling reason to get hitched.
However if/when he gets lonely, how is it handled? If he is comfortable in solitude, then he should be able to manage. Like many of my friends. Although some may not be fully comfortable in solitude... but they know what to do when the niggling silence bugs them... one goes for a run or a holiday... one decorates or rearrange the house... one calls her mum or goes out with her friends for tea (or by herself if friends are unavailable)... one cooks & bakes fantastic pastries... one organises events & helps those in need... wow I do have many wonderfully single friends! Being single doesn't define them. They are complete and wholesome and happy, and for this I am supremely happy for them.
So, if a person volunteers to be their companion, imagine how wholesome and wonderful this person (too) need to be?
Today another friend is making her way into matrimony, for the third time. May she be granted happiness that she seeks.
