Where's your Husband?

Since the divorce, I haven't quite mastered the technique of answering this question. Below are some potential answers that I could give... depending on who's asking

(1) He's at home (his home)
(2) I don't have one (if I want to be mysterious)
(3) He is gone (with the wind)
(4) We are divorced (some may follow up with "why"? and I would answer "it was not meant to be")
(5) He is kidnapped by an alien & it refused to return him
(6) We divorced because of irreconcilable differences
(7) I asked him to leave following an affair
(8) He took off with an eye candy
(9) He's somewhere (I don't know or I don't care)
(10) Husband, what husband?

Despite still missing him, I have decided to let him go. He has made his choice. This is not a Hollywood movie where the man runs after the girl as she leaves on the night train.. nor is this a situation meriting the breach of international aviation laws when the man boards the plane without a boarding pass, just to say the words "I love you" before the girl departs.

No matter how I play it in my mind, it will never happen. He has moved on, has started dating again & already shortlisting some potential candidates. I guess I must be quite easy to forget :(

Stop being forlorn, stop whining, stop complaining, stop sending angry messages (already have stopped cold turkey!), stop reaching out to him, stop caring, stop thinking of him, stop missing him. It's not like he misses me anyway, or cares. OH WELL!!

LIFE GOES ON & I GROW STRONGER BY THE DAY. Soon I will forget the person and the love I had for him. So long Mr Ex. Goodbye- I guess I am as ready as I'll ever be for that date!!
