Things not adding up | Let things take its course

As friends we wished her the best on her new journey. May the bride and groom be blessed with all the good things matrimony has to offer, and may they sail the sea and handle the storms with wisdom and patience. May all things that have been planned run smoothly and may all rough edges be smoothened. 

I am a bad reader of people (or am I?). There seemed to be an 'uneasy' air in the house, or am I reading too much into it? Mixed families have their own set of issues to overcome, but with positivity they may find an acceptable middle ground/ mind meeting point which will provide a happy solution. May all communications between all parties be constructive and productive.

Between the bride and groom, he will take care of her (and she him) so that is all good. Let's just sort out my own issues and not get too caught up in other peoples' matters, shall we?
