46th Birthday

I share the same birthdate as Elizabeth Hurley and Jodie Foster (according to wikipedia). We may or may not have similar characteristics, however I seem to still be searching my way through life at 46 while many others have achieved acclaim.

The main point here is the belief that everything happens at their own time, and everything happens for a reason. It is not my time yet for acclaim, perhaps I do not know how to handle it yet, or I may be expected to achieve something else first, or my rewards may be received in the hereafter (this I do hope).

I am humbled to be alive at this age, to be able to care for my children, to be able to sustain a living reasonably comfortably. I am completely grateful for the good health, great company, wonderful opportunities and possibly this job too which sometimes gets to me, but generally not too bad relative to other jobs that other people do.
