Marriage

We will both be married soon, but the fact will be under wraps until the big reveal in June/ July this year. We're kinda doing it kinda like the Biebers and Miley & Liam, instead of Priyanka & Nick.

What do I feel about it?

Personally I am nowhere near prepared. The house is rather topsy turvy. There is still lots to do. Yet this feels right. Someone I want to move forward with.

If I was never positive before, this is the time to be. Best foot forward. May we work it out the best way we can. May we heal each other. May we love forever.

The Markles

Being a complete outsider to the developments of the Royal Family, my small mind can't help but think that Meghan would have avoided all these media fiasco had she invited her half sister and perhaps another 5 people from her family. Get them over to London, set them up on a tour around the city & before the wedding, give them a briefing on the required decorum for a royal wedding. They would have spoken to tabloids regardless, but at least out of courtesy to the royal family they may just moderate their comments a tad.

And after the wedding they should have made a quick trip to see her father who was recovering from surgery & was unfit to travel.

Almost a year on, the media fiasco is still undying. Samantha Markle is still talking to the press & going on her book tour to boot. Daddy on the other hand has gone public & published excerpts of a very personal letter. "No, you were not hurt, it is I".

I suppose Kate and Fergie are super glad Meg joined their family. Makes whatever wrong that they've done pale in comparison.

Meghan & Harry, you are a loving couple as seen from popular media & I do believe that you are both wonderful people like the rest of us: All the best in your future endeavour. Perhaps the best action in this case is inaction. Let things die down & hopefully the birth of the royal baby will outshine the bad soap opera bits.
