Baked Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

One chicken cut in small pieces (cut to the size based on your preference)
Shallots & Garlic, pounded
Ground Ginger (I used powdered ginger, a bit milder in taste)
Light soy sauce (it is light coloured, but very salty- I didn't need to add salt at all)
Italian spice (or oregano + basil, or oregano as the lone star, for replacement)
Chilli powder (use as much as mentally and gustatorily acceptable)
Bread crumbs

Method:
Mix all ingredients together (except bread crumbs)
starting with soy sauce > shallot+garlic > ground ginger > chilli powder >> herbs
(I don't know if what goes in first affects the taste, but I am curious to know)

You may choose to leave this aside (1 hour minimum, or half day or even overnight- your choice) for the flavours to seep into the chicken, or you may not

Just before baking, add bread crumbs (in the amount to your liking, but not too much that it overwhelms the chicken)

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes (or slightly more, if you like the chickens well done)

[Incidentally I learnt a new word today. I know the word olfactory which is the sense of smell, so I was wondering what is taste? Apparently it is "gustatory" https://sensory-processing.middletownautism.com/background/what-are-the-senses/#:~:text=Taste%20is%20processed%20through%20the,processed%20through%20our%20gustatory%20sense.]
